Generous Associates Campaign: Equal Justice, Equal Responsibility

The annual Generous Associates Campaign of Legal Aid is a fundraising campaign run by associates at Washington,DC law firms city wide. Although contributors to the campaign are comprised of associates, partners, non-lawyers, and the firms themselves, it is a campaign that allows the true generosity of the associates in our community to come through in spectacular fashion. The Generous Associates Campaign allows Legal Aid to continue to provide free legal services to the neediest members of the DC community in the areas of family law, housing, and public benefits.

The annual Generous Associates Campaign of Legal Aid is a fundraising campaign run by associates at Washington, D.C. law firms city wide. Although contributors to the campaign are comprised of associates, partners, non-lawyers, and the firms themselves, it is a campaign that allows the true generosity of the associates in our community to come through in spectacular fashion.

This year, The Washington, D.C. legal community has raised $782,000 on behalf of the Generous Associates Campaign. Together, we have reached the highest figure in the Campaign's 22-year history. We are grateful to Carolyn Lamm, our honorary chair, the Campaign co-chairs and the firm coordinators, for their extraordinary commitment to the Campaign's success.

Thanks to the philanthropic support of the legal community, Legal Aid will continue to make justice real for DC's most vulnerable residents.
